CIRCULAR LETTER TO ALL THE NATIONAL COUNCILS AND THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR AMM’S THROUGHOUT THE WORLD

O Mary, conceived without sin!

Dear esteemed ones in the love of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal:

1. In the letter we wrote you on January 29, and in the other information we have sent you about the preparation for the Encounter in November in Paris, that has been approved by Father Gay and the International Council, this paragraph was included:

September 1: Deadline for receiving at the International Secretariat (ammintermex@yahoo.com.mx) suggestions, contributions, and considerations from the national AMM’s for the proposed text of the International Statutes (see the proposed text at www.aminter.org). (We ask that you cite the paragraph numbers, according to the text, when you make references in your suggestions.)

We want to remind you of this very important date, so that by September 1 we receive those suggestions, contributions and considerations made by the national AMM’s.  With all your ideas we will craft the basic document for the Encounter, which is what we will be working on in the weeks ahead. If you postpone sending us your suggestions, that delay will cause us problems.  In order to complete the final document for the Encounter, we will need sufficient time.

2. In just a few months we will be gathering for the Encounter.  Now more than ever, we need your prayers.  With prayer we will be able to accomplish all the work of the Encounter, especially the revision and pending approbation of the new International Statutes.

3. The Encounter will involve many expenses for AMM International.  We ask you to send us your contributions, the regular ones for the year, as well as whatever help you can provide for this special occasion.

4. On September 27th, the solemnity of St. Vincent de Paul begins the Jubilee Year of the 350th Anniversary of the death of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac.  During this Jubilee Year we ask the participation of all the members of the Vincentian Family, as well as all of us.  Remember that the appointed commissions offer us catechesis, information and other material on the web page:  http://famvin.org/anniversary/

Now, more than ever, let us pray and remain united in prayer before we begin this important work.  These tasks are in our hands in order that we may grow in our fidelity to the work that the Blessed Mother has entrusted to us.
