The whole letter is very expressive, easy reading, and with very clear approach, thus it is very difficult to give “guidelines for reading”. It is enough to read it carefully and underlining the points which seem more significant to the reader. Even so, we propose some suggestions. The steps of the meeting could be the following:
In this letter, at a personal level, emphasize the most significant points. A point of Dialogue might be to ask everyone present what they know about Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, Antoine Portail, or Justin de Jacobis . . . This would tell much about what would come later. The moderator would clarify any questions of understanding of the text and its contents which the readers might have encountered.
We propose to put the monthly study topics on the web page of the Vincentian Family (www.famvin.org). Sharing them, in time, with the participants in the meetings, in order to prepare the topics. To set a monthly time , from next September, to hold the study and reflection meeting. And to be faithful to that date.
